Lucille’s always had her head in the clouds looking at things from a very different perspective. From a very young age she always had an eye for the arts, initially expressing herself through painting and sketching. When she was given her first camera, a Canon AV-1 35mm SLR the love affair began. Lucille was instantly addicted, quickly realising that with the click of a button she was able to capture a piece of time through light. Initially this was a hobby and a passion but Lucille was then given the opportunity to excel in photography while studying fine arts. Lucille then spent the next few years travelling the world and living in Edinburgh, continually capturing images as she went. It was during this time that she decided upon returning to Australia, that she would further her studies in photography.

Lucille is currently completing her diploma of photo imaging at TAFE NSW Sydney Institute. Her main passion is shooting portraiture, capturing the expressions and emotions of people and families. She also enjoys shooting fashion, events and food photography. Although the artist in her always assures that she’s working on an obscure and abstract project which challenges ‘the norm’ or as Lucille calls it ‘the boring’.
Lucille hopes to learn and prove her art further through continually immersing herself in the industry, eager to turn it into her main profession. I’m sure you’ll agree her penchant for the detail and the different give her work that certain something that everyone who’s met Lucille says she has.
